A favourite place in London. I use any excuse to divert a journey home through The Great Court. I remember visiting site when the great court was a muddy pile and clambering down ladders to get into it. The specialist modelling group at Foster + Partners went through many an iteration on the panelisation to get the geometric, structural and aesthics successfully balanced off against each other. One of the great spaces of London.
